The Head of Brand Marketing will lead product launches and campaigns across retail, own shopper marketing for major in-store activations, and oversee the creative, influencer, and brand partnership teams, ensuring integration with digital growth strategies. You will bring proven experience launching products into national retailers (Walmart, Target, GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc.), combining sharp retail execution with cultural marketing to drive velocity and awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Product Launches & Campaigns
- Lead all go-to-market strategy & rollout for product launches with world-class campaign execution, ensuring campaigns connect seamlessly with digital channels.
- Drive shopper marketing and retail activation strategies with Walmart, Target, and other key accounts.
- Partner with sales and operations to ensure seamless go-to-market execution.
- Oversee brand marketing budget, aligning spend with business objectives, forecasting needs, and ensuring accountability for ROI across all initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop the creative/content team, influencer marketing team, and brand partnerships team.
- Create alignment and accountability across functions to deliver best-in-class storytelling.
Brand Growth
- Maintain and evolve the brand strategy, positioning, and voice to ensure consistent storytelling across all channels.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across earned, owned, and experiential channels.
- Expand athlete, creator, and community partnerships that authentically align with Cadence.
- Track KPIs and consumer insights to refine strategies and maximize impact.
Requirements
- Experience in building a brand in CPG, sports, or performance lifestyle categories.
- Proven experience launching products with Walmart, Target, or other large national retailers.
- Strong track record in shopper marketing and in-store campaign execution.
- Team management experience - able to elevate creative, influencer, and partnerships functions.
- Balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Deep understanding of culture, sport, and community-driven marketing.
